About Us
The Sweet Stop has been a familiar name, and a family run business, in Dunfermline for over 60 years. Two years ago a new generation took over the business and has now moved the shop to a more central location in the town, at the top end of Bridge St, in the heritage quarter. We are now happy to share with the rest of the world the treats Dunfermline has been keeping to itself for all these years!!

We now carry over 310 lines of traditional sweets, including such favourites as:- Soor plooms

- Sweet peanuts

…if it’s a traditional sweet, we stock it!!
Special Occasion?
We cater for and supply to weddings, christenings and birthdays etc with our bespoke candy buffet.
We can even bring that olde Sweet Stop experience, complete with staff in period uniform and traditional scales, to your party, function, office or workplace.
You can also find us at fairs and galas, doing our Sweet Stop thing!
